Welcome to My Personal Page
Well, it's been four years since my diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease. Although it felt devastating at first, with support of my family, friends, and excellent health care, I've learned to live life well despite some frustrating and often uncomfortable symptoms! My glass really is half full!
The past few years I've met so many people from the Parkinson's community, everyone at different stages of the disease, and everybody doing whatever it takes to slow the progression of the disease. I've made wonderful new friends and really have had my eyes opened to the strength and generosity of the community spirit.
This September 7 John and I will be walking with a bunch of these friends at Walk-It for Parkinson's to raise funds for the Parkinson's Society Southwestern Ontario. Funds raised go to support services, education, advocacy and research. This is our third year participating in the walk.
Thanks for all you do,
Why WALK-IT for Parkinson's?

Show your support for those affected by Parkinson's by walking with me or sponsoring me. Join the movement for physical activity today and help us reach our goal.
