Welcome to My Personal Page
Thanks for visiting my personal fundraising page!
This September I will join over 1,000 walkers taking part in Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario's WALK-IT for Parkinson’s. Funds raised at WALK-IT for Parkinson's will stay in Southwestern Ontario and go to support services, education, advocacy and research.
My brother Stephen was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2004 and he fought quite the battle with Pakinsons and was frustrated with his mobility problems. Stephen passed away April 2017 from Parkinson and Cancer. I was personally diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2015 that started with tremors in my right hand. So far medication and exercise have slowed the progression of my disease and people tell me that they couldn't tell I had Parkinson's. I consider myself very lucky and I'm hoping for a cure. I will be walking the Walk It walk in Port Elgin September 7th 2019 in memory of my brother. Thanks for your generousity in supporting this cause.
Regular physical activity can help slow the progression of Parkinson’s symptoms, so join me in helping the Parkinson’s community in Southwestern Ontario keep active.
Show your support for those affected by Parkinson's by walking with me or sponsoring me.
Thank you – We’re in this together!
